System requirements
- Windows 10/11 64-bit. WebView2 runtime (ships with Windows 11, auto-installs on 10). Windows 11 is the most tested and recommended platform.
- Linux. deb (Debian/Ubuntu/Mint), rpm (Fedora/RHEL/openSUSE) or AppImage (any distro). Requires WebKitGTK 2.40+.On Linux systems with an NVIDIA graphics card using the proprietary driver, the ambient screensaver visualizer may run at a reduced frame rate. Playback, library and all other features are unaffected; this only affects the visualizer. Most Intel/AMD systems, and all Windows/macOS systems, run at full quality.
- Touchscreen recommended. Best on a larger format screen, around 1080p or higher, but works perfectly with mouse and keyboard.
- ~100 MB disk. Music stored on your own machine or server.
Linux touch input feeling off? Run it with WEBKIT_DISABLE_DMABUF_RENDERER=1 ./TouchGroove. Touch support on Linux has improved a lot in recent versions, so on a current distro (recent GNOME/Wayland) you may not need this at all.
