Your music stays on your network

TouchGroove is a local app. Your music library, playlists, favorites and settings live on your own machine and never leave your network. The app does not upload, scan or transmit your music files, and it does not use cloud storage for your library.

What the app sends over the internet

Very little, and only when you ask it to:

• License checks: when you enter a license key, the app talks to our license server to activate it. No personal data beyond the key and a machine identifier is involved.
• Update checks: once a day the app fetches a small version manifest so it can show you an update notice. It sends no identifying information.
• Nothing else. No analytics, no telemetry, no advertising trackers, no third-party cookies.

Purchases & email

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as our merchant of record. Your name, email and order details are stored by Paddle and used to process your order, deliver your license key and receipt, and handle returns. We only see the email address you use at checkout, and we use it solely for support and license-related communication, never for marketing, and never sold.

Cookies

The site sets a single preview cookie when you log into the pre-launch preview, so you stay signed in for 30 days. No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies are used. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address like any web request.
