TouchGroove is a music-player app for your own music. You are buying a licence to use it on one machine. Your music stays on your network. TouchGroove never sees, uploads or scans your files.
One licence key unlocks one installation of TouchGroove on one machine (kiosk, PC or laptop) for its lifetime, including all updates released while the licence is active. A licence is per machine: if you run TouchGroove on more than one machine, for example two bar kiosks, you need one licence per machine. Personal and business use are both allowed within that limit.
TouchGroove includes a free 7-day trial so you can try it before you buy. No credit card is required. The trial runs from first launch on that machine and ends automatically. After that, the app needs a licence key to keep playing.
Your licence key is personal to you. Do not share it publicly or publish it online. If you replace a machine, you may transfer your key to the new machine; deactivating the old one first keeps things clean. A key activated on many machines may be flagged and refused.
You may not resell, rent, sublicence or redistribute TouchGroove, your licence key, or the installers; use a single licence to run the app on multiple machines at once; or remove or alter the copyright and licence notices in the app. Reversing or tampering with the app’s licensing mechanism is not allowed. Nothing here stops you from doing anything the law already lets you do.
TouchGroove plays music from your own Navidrome server or local files. Your library, playlists, favourites and settings stay on your machine and network. The app connects out only when you ask it to: licence activation (key + a machine identifier sent to our payment and licensing provider), a daily update check (a small version manifest), and, if you use them, internet radio stations and the RadioBrowser directory.
TouchGroove includes open-source components, notably Navidrome (Apache-2.0), each under its own licence. Those licences govern those components, and the notices are included with the app. Nothing in this agreement overrides an open-source licence.
Updates are never forced. When an update is available, TouchGroove shows a notice and you decide whether and when to install it. We may stop supporting older versions over time.
TouchGroove is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. The full functionality depends on your hardware, network and music files. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence. We are not liable for lost music, lost data, lost revenue, or any indirect or incidental damages. Where the law does not allow a limitation, that limitation does not apply to you.
This agreement lasts as long as you use the app. It ends automatically if you breach it, for example by sharing your key publicly. On ending, you stop using TouchGroove; your music is unaffected. You can also simply delete the app, which ends the agreement too.
